SUMMARY: Works directly with the Strategic Sourcing category management teams, ensuring timely review of contracts for contract audit compliance, supporting the renewal process and ensuring item masters, blanket purchase agreements and catalogs, price and item adjustments are managed timely.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for day-to-day management of the contract and document repositories including system updates, document indexing and filing. Maintains the blanket agreements and contracts in the enterprise procurement systems. Monitors supplier contract renewals and monitors the activity of supplier performance reports . Ensures the suppliers contracts are onboarded to the ERP systems and the most efficient P2P processes are set up for the supplier and business requestor. Evaluates contract compliance and advises on contractual obligations including, but not limited to, identifying issues, responsible parties and recommending solutions. Collaborates in developing contract strategies, specifications, and requirements. Manage documentation and correspondence for proper contract administration and compliance which may include supporting documentation, bids, price analysis, negotiations and pricing lists and statements of work. Reviewing contracts for compliance in relation to deliverables from the suppliers. Provides training and technical assistance to internal and external customers as required.
Obtaining contract-related information from relevant parties. Liaising between internal parties regarding supplier onboarding, qualification and performance against contract requirements and risk assessments.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE: +3 years related experience in managing data, use of ERP systems, cataloging or contracts. Experience in the transportation and maritime industries is desirable.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel(advanced), Outlook and Word. Use Enterprise Resource Planning platforms like Oracle Cloud is highly desirable. Familiarity with contract terms and conditions.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to compile, review and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness and compliance. Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
