Descripción de la Oferta

Core Functions / Responsibilities:

Extract and input data from various sources in financial or accounting systems to prepare financial reports and analysis.
Process and record payments to suppliers verifying that the documentation is correct and complete based on the Organization´s regulations.
Review and record all the receipts for Panama´s bank accounts in the accounting system.
Record and manage the petty cash payments and receipts. Ensuring monthly reconciliations and closure reports done timely.
Support with the review and reconciliation of advances, accounts payable and receivables ensuring the correct and timely clearance.
Verify documentation for accuracy and compliance with the Organization´s rules and regulations.
Support with the monthly closure and reviews of donor financial reports.
Provide assistance to the staff such as travel queries, use of organization’s equipment, etc.
Draft routine correspondence related to the unit’s work and type a variety of material such as correspondence or reports.
Monthly reviews of accounts to support the reconciliation and closure processes.
Prepare draft of annual financial reports and reconciliations for special accounts managed in the Organization.
Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications and Experience

Education: Completion of secondary school education with 4 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree in related, such as Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or similar, with 2 years of related experience. Certified Public Accountant or equivalent would be an advantage.

Experience
4 years of experience with secondary school education or 2 years of related experience with Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Knowledge of accounting systems and/or SAP plus generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls.
High-level computer literacy.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Working knowledge of French is advantageous.
