Descripción de la Oferta

• Responsible for providing country-level input to the Head of Procurement to inform the top-down target setting process as aligned to the Procurement Calendar
• Responsible for the delivery of country-level targets following agreement in the target setting process
• Responsible for the collection of supplier, market, category and internal business data and information for the relevant categories at a country level, or broader as agreed with the Global/Regional Category Lead
• Responsible for providing country-level input to, and validation of the Global Category Strategy including facilitating involvement of relevant country-level stakeholders prior to strategy development
• Accountable for managing a robust project plan to ensure the projects agreed to within the Annual Category Plan are executed on a timely basis in line with the targeted goals and that the identified savings are delivered
• Accountable for proactively escalating any known risks or issues to the Global Category Team and/or local management to ensure required support for resolution
• Consulted in the overall supplier segmentation process and the identification of key supplier relationships at a country-level
• Responsible for the management of assigned category supplier relationships as agreed in the supplier segmentation with the Global Category team
• Responsible for collecting and summarizing supplier information and feedback from Divisions, sites and Business Partners for the relevant categories and suppliers
• Accountable for managing innovation with strategic country-level suppliers
• Responsible for the creation, application and completion of country contracts for the category
• Responsible for providing regular input and reviewing the development of the “Category Playbook”
• Responsible for the operational buying process and performing all required ad-hoc sourcing / operational buying activities
• Accountable for ensuring negotiated contracts are clearly communicated for the category area and ensuring they are consistently applied and stored in the agreed repository for all relevant parties to access
• Responsible for ensuring that a proactive contract management program is in place to support timely renewal / tendering prior to contract expiry
• Responsible for monitoring compliance and adherence to the applicable Novartis Procurement policies and procedures
• Responsible for ensuring country level supplier issues are addressed and resolved on a timely manner
• Accountable for proactively escalating any known risks or issues to the Global Category Team and/or local management to ensure required support for resolution
• Inputs into the overall category segmentation and identification of key supplier relationships
• Accountable for the implementation of consistent supplier facing KPIs based on the Novartis Supplier Performance & Innovation Framework
• Responsible for the management of assigned category supplier relationships as agreed in the supplier segmentation with the Global Category team
• Responsible for timely sharing of key country-related material with the Global Category team and stakeholders using the medium determined by each e.g SharePoint sites
