EDUCATION:

University Degree: Bachelor in Mechanical engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Skills and knowledge about CAD engineering systems and reading architectural and structural blueprints

EXPERIENCE:

• Five (5) or more years of Experience operating and/or designing and troubleshooting mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, process gas distribution systems, compressed air, Cooling Towers, chiller systems, fluid coolers, variety of pumping systems, exhaust, low flow hoods, steam, water treatment, lab waste, sanitary, fuel delivery systems, and process systems.

• Five (5) or more years of experience preparing cost effective mechanical system designs such as piping, process gas distribution systems, compressed air, Cooling Towers, chiller systems,

SKILLS:

• Experience in Mechanical Piping, plumbing, HVAC Design.
• Significant experience working with project managers to determine the project size, scope and budget. Ability to keep a project on course throughout the entire design/production phase, and ability to effectively communicate with all disciplines involved in a given project.
• Proficient in AUTOCAD, version 2010 or later.
• Mechanical construction cost estimating skills.
• Experience troubleshooting of building and/or process mechanical systems.
• Involvement in technical bid evaluations for the design of special areas of plant and specialized equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication (verbal, written, listening) and teamwork skills.
• Ability to progress toward supervising a large number of employees.
• Good communication skills to deal with owners, subcontractors, and employees.
• Possess a solid understanding of tracking job progress, costing and formal reporting.
• Understand problems and provide effective solutions.
• Knowledge of programming and implementation of projects and have extensive knowledge of any programming software as AUTOCAD.




TRAINING:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Interpretation of mechanical drawings and structural.
• ASME Normative.

LANGUAGES:
• Spanish, English advanced skill written and oral.
