Position Description.

Euronet/epay is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with an emphassis on Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have knowledge spanning key Microsoft products, including Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, Systems Center, and Team Foundation Server, as well as third-party software. Primarily this position is responsible for engineering a global Microsoft Exchange solution in a hybrid cloud configuration for over 4100 users in 39 countries. The position will be responsible for creating a procedures based administration guide/training for our operations center. Additionally, this position will be responsible for active directory design/guidance. The position will be a point of escalation of end-user support from the Helpdesk team.

Required and desired Qualifications.
- Passion for technology
- At least six years of experience in architecting and supporting a highly reliable, scalable messaging environment
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange design, administration, and troubleshooting for multiple offices
- Extensive experience automating the monitoring and maintenance of an Exchange environment with Exchange PowerShell
- Working knowledge of other messaging and server technologies such as SMTP Gateways and SPAM Filtering
- Experience with archiving for compliance purposes
- Extensive experience with troubleshooting ActiveSync and OWA on different mobile platforms
- Fundamental understanding of storage technologies as they relate to Exchange server IO requirements
- Working knowledge of Systems Center
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Active Directory services, including Group Policy and patch management
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Understanding of RAID topologies, RAM and DNS
- Demonstrated client service skills
- 6-8 years of system administration or related experience
- MCSA expert, equivilant or similar certification desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field desired
- Strong analytical abilities and demonstrated troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and to provide after-hours support as necessary.
