Job Details
• Have at least 2-3 years of experience in Avaya ACM administration.
• Understand the following technologies as it pertains to Avaya IP Telephony:
- CO Lines - Digital E1/T1 Trunks - IP h.323 Trunks - IP SIP Trunks
- Tenant Partitioning - FRL / COR / COS - CoDec Sets / Network Regions
- Dial Plans
- VDNs, Vectors, Vectors Routing Tables, Variables, Service Hours and Holiday Tables
- Announcements, Audio Groups, Best Service Routing
- Coverage (answer, path, remote, time-of-day …)
- Endpoints management (IP Phones, Gateways, LSP, etc.)
- Groups (Page, Hunt , Intercom, Pickup, Trunk groups)
- Network (AAR, ARS, Route Patterns, Signaling groups, etc.)
- CMS
- Modular Messaging
- One-X Communicator, Agent, Mobile (will be beneficial)
• Experience with Telecommunication or Network System administration is a plus
- APX switches
- SBC (Session Border Controller)
- Cisco AS5400
• Experience working with Avaya products, Call Center or Call Recording Systems are a plus
• Familiarity working with LAN or WAN environments preferred
• Experience setting up and working with Windows Server and Desktop platforms required
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, sense of teamwork and a positive attitude required
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task required
• Open to work flexible hours and weekends
• Bilingual (English /Spanish)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Utilize company ticketing system to create, receive, and update Service Tickets
• Work independently or on a team to complete projects as assigned
• Develop and/or maintain project Task Lists
• Provide technical support to clients and other technicians
• Perform periodic reporting to Telecom Manager on various aspects of projects and duties
• Supervise and perform scheduled maintenance on systems in accordance with documentation
• Share in required on-call and after hours support responsibilities
